We understand that your dog is part of your family, and leaving them, while you treat yourself to a Staycation, would be very daunting. However, we are ”dog friendly” both in the restaurant and hotel, meaning you no longer need to worry about leaving them behind.
A study shows that over 50% of the UK population have a family dog, therefore it is so important to us to be able to give you and your pet the chance to enjoy a staycation together. The Boat Country Inn is set amongst heather-clad hills and native woodlands in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, which is perfect for your beloved dogs to enjoy and explore the beautiful countryside safely.
Walking is by far the most popular activity in the National Park. The joy of hiking here is that whether your four-legged friend is a no-nonsense slow-walking pooch in search of a scenic lowland trail, or an excited adventurous Monro-bagger on the hunt for its next challenge, you will find an adventure that will live with the whole family long after you leave.
Whatever you decide to do during your stay, you can return from your day out, where there will be a fresh bowl of drinking water waiting for your beloved dog after their walk in the beautiful countryside. Then retire to your room for some well-needed rest and relaxation for the whole family.
